You can, you know.
No....I'm not kidding. If you can make a sound, you can heal yourself and others with sound. But start with yourself - to get the hang of it.
Take a deep breath..........And then another.........
Do this one more time - to help ground yourself.
Now hum a single note. It doesn't matter what note - anything that feels right to you. And don't confuse this with singing - you're not singing -- you're humming. Anyone can hum.
Hum again. Same note.
Do this 3 more times.....and pay attention to how it feels in your body. Can you feel the vibration of your hum?
Now.....here's where you step into using sound to heal.....
Focus your attention on an area that needs a little TLC.... Got knee pain? Back pain? Foot pain?
How about emotional pain? If you're feeling emotional pain - where do you feel it? Does your chest constrict? Your throat? Where are you feeling it?
Now hum again, while focusing your attention - and intention - on the area that needs some healing. Go through the same 5 deep breaths and 5 "hums", focusing on the area of pain.
How are you feeling now? Notice any difference?
