If you fight with reality, you will lose. But only 100% of the time.
Sometimes I love that saying by Byron Katie, and sometimes I want to slap her in the face. But that would be fighting with reality, wouldn't it?
So what do you do when reality sucks? What do you do when reality has dealt you a hand that you want to just throw into a fire? How do you accept it when you find yourself with a diagnosis that you know isn't going away....and maybe is even terminal? When you find yourself in more pain than you ever knew was possible, and the people around you just don't get it?
There's a word in the Chinese Qi Gong tradition: haola. Haola means All is well and getting better.
How can that be? If all is well, then how can it get better? Well, from a cosmic perspective, all is well. From a human perspective, we want it to be better. So Haola covers both perspectives.
And when we practice using qi gong moves, along with sounds - which affect us on an emotional and vibrational level - we can affect our body, mind and spirit.... which is what it takes for true healing.
I have found these practices to bring me peace and joy, no matter what was going on in my life. Do you have practices that work for you? I'd love to hear about them! Click on the link below and leave a comment.
